Backtrack is a privacy-focused, open-source solution for logging location data that maintains a comprehensive history of your device’s movements. Unlike many web mapping platform offerings, it provides an alternative to “Location History” features without compromising user privacy by selling or sharing data with third parties.
The application emphasizes user ownership of data by securely storing information in spaces under your exclusive control. Pausing and resuming location tracking can be accomplished effortlessly with a single tap, and all collected data can be reviewed directly within the app.
